Christophe Gutknecht

Christophe Gutknecht has extensive experience in sales and business development. Christophe began their career in 1998 as Sales Manager for Switzerland at PerkinElmer. In 2000, they moved to Tomtec Inc as Sales Director EMEA. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as Sales Manager for EMEA at REMP. From 2007 to 2009, they were Sales Manager EMEA Hamilton Storage Systems at Hamilton Robotics AG. In 2009, they joined Parallel Synthesis Technologies Inc as Director International Business Development, responsible for the sale of technology, instruments, and reagents in Europe. From 2010 to 2014, they were Head of Sales Switzerland and Regional Sales Manager at VWR. From 2014 to 2017, they were CEO at Schmidlin Labor + Service AG, trading, selling, and servicing laboratory equipment and instrumentation. In 2021, they joined rqmicro AG as Senior Sales Manager, developing and marketing proprietary reagents and innovative instruments for rapid microbiological tests for water and food safety.

Christophe Gutknecht completed their studies at Lycée Mulhouse from 1984 to 1986. Christophe then attended Université Louis Pasteur (Strasbourg I) from 1987 to 1991, where they studied Biochimie.
