Tobias Schaad

Tobias Schaad has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Tobias began their career at UBS Wealth Management as a Market Strategy & Development Intern in the Asia Pacific region. In 2008, they held a Trade Finance Product Management Assistant role at Credit Suisse, and was also a Strategy Consulting Intern at Monitor Group. In 2010, they were a Supply Chain Planning and Project Management (SIM Int. Project) at BSH Home Appliances in China. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Consultant at Zanders Treasury & Finance Solutions, where they advised Multinationals and NGOs in matters of treasury and finance strategy and organization, processes, and performance. Since 2015, they have been the CFO/COO at rqmicro, where they work to enable safe water for people around the world.

Tobias Schaad obtained a B.A. HSG in Business Administration from the University of St.Gallen in 2008. In 2009, they began their M.A. HSG (SIM) in Strategy & International Management (SIM) at the University of St.Gallen, which they completed in 2011. During their studies, they also attended the Nanyang Technological University Singapore for an Undergrad Exchange in 2006-2007, and the Tsinghua University for an International MBA Exchange in 2010-2011. Additionally, they hold a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
