Jonathan Gimbel

Jonathan Gimbel has extensive work experience in the medical devices and diagnostics industry. Jonathan is currently the Vice President, Technical at RQM+ since October 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Director of Regulatory and Quality Consulting Services at RQM+ from January 2019 to November 2022. Jonathan also held positions at RQM+ as the Director of Western Pennsylvania Operations from November 2016 to December 2018 and as the Manager of Pennsylvania Operations from July 2014 to October 2016. Before joining RQM+, Jonathan worked as a Senior Scientist at Flexuspine, Inc. from September 2006 to May 2014, where they contributed to the development of a Total Spine Arthroplasty device. Jonathan began their career as an Engineer at Exponent Failure Analysis Associates from February 2005 to August 2006.

Jonathan Gimbel received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University in 1999. Jonathan went on to earn a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania between 1999 and 2001. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering and BioEngineering at the University of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2005.
