Uttam Lohani

Uttam Lohani has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Starting from 1988, they began as an Accounting/Research Assistant at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited, where they performed various financial functions and assisted in analyzing financial statements. Uttam then moved on to become the Chief Financial Officer at Hammam Maintenance and Trading Company in 1995, where they implemented improvement initiatives for profitability and efficiency. In 1999, they became the Chief Accountant at Al Mansouri 3B Construction LLC., where they were responsible for the accounting department and project cost calculations. In 2001, Uttam worked as a Registered Auditor/Partner at U N Lohani & Audit Co., conducting audits for non-profit organizations. From 2007 to 2016, Uttam worked as a Senior Accountant/Operations Research Analyst at CCO, LLC, where they prepared financial statements, collaborated with auditors, and streamlined accounting processes. Following this, they served as the Director at CCO LLC from 2016 to 2020, engaging in commercial real estate and property management. Most recently, Uttam held the position of Senior Corporate Accountant at USAII from 2020 to 2021, overseeing property accounting and working on cost control. Presently, they are the Head of the Accounting Department at RREAF Residential, where they are responsible for financial strategy development, financial reporting, and publishing of financial statements.

Uttam Lohani has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting from Johnson & Wales University College of Professional Studies, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Uttam'sstudies included subjects such as FARE, Auditing, Taxation, Business Policy and Strategic Management, Stat, and Marketing Management. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1995, they completed another MBA degree from Tribhuvan University, Shankar Dev College, Kathmandu, Nepal, specializing in Accounting, Business Policy & Strategic Management, Auditing, Taxation, and Accounting Information System. Uttam also holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Management Saraswoti College, Thamel, Ktm, Nepal, which they obtained from 1988 to 1990.
