Melanie Louis-Jacques

Melanie Louis-Jacques is a senior fund accountant at RRA Companies. Melanie previously worked as a fund accountant at H.R.L. Morrison & Co from March 2019 to March 2020, and as a senior accountant at PwC from November 2014 to March 2019, where they were engaged in all aspects of effective client service including engagement management, planning, budgeting, staff allocation, providing technical advice, delivering results to the client, supervising and coaching junior staff on a daily basis. Melanie Louis-Jacques also worked as an assurance intern at PwC from January 2014 to February 2014, and as a payroll accountant at TTS Staffing (now ingenium) from May 2011 to May 2013, where they were responsible for reconciling bank balances, recording general ledger entries, and auditing accounts for discrepancies in QuickBooks, developing standardized HR forms, reports, and processes, leading annual renewal/change of health plans, implementing internal controls that minimized payroll-processing time and reduced errors, cutting costs by renegotiating vendor contracts to obtain discounts, and reducing paper and postage expenses by switching to an e-billing system.

Melanie Louis-Jacques has an MBA in Professional Accounting from Rutgers Business School and a B.A. in French from Rutgers University. Melanie also has a certification from the NJ Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.
