Chris Mentzer

Vice President - Applied Robotics at RRAI

Chris Mentzer started their work experience in 2005 as a Research Engineer at Southwest Research Institute. Chris then progressed through various roles within the company, including Senior Research Engineer, Group Leader, Manager - R&D, and Assistant Director - R&D. In 2014, they served as a Board of Directors member at the National Advanced Mobility Consortium. In 2017, they became the Advisory Committee - Administrative Chair at the SPE Unmanned Systems (USYS) Technical Section. In 2021, they founded Advanced Robotics LLC and later became Vice President - Applied Robotics at RRAI. The exact end dates for some of the roles are not provided.

Chris Mentzer has a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Chris also holds a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in 2013.
