John Massey has extensive experience in higher education and facilities planning. Currently serving as a project specialist at RRMM Architects since April 2012, John provides critical insights for higher education projects, collaborating with college personnel to ensure that new facilities align with institutional needs. Previously, John served as the director of facilities planning and development at Tidewater Community College from July 2001 to February 2012, overseeing capital projects for a multi-campus institution serving over 45,000 students. John's career at Tidewater Community College also includes roles as provost and division chairman, along with serving as an associate professor of mathematics. John holds an Ed.D. in higher education curriculum and instruction from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, an MTS in mathematics from the College of William and Mary, and a B.A. in mathematics from Elon College.
