Priya Sikka

Priya Sikka has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role is as an Operations Hiring Specialist at Rapid Response Monitoring, starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Policy Coordinator for Quality and Safety at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono from December 2016 to October 2020. Sikka also has experience as a Teacher & Career Coach at East Side Learners Association (ESLA) from August 2018 to December 2019. In the field of medical education, they served as the Director of Curricular Affairs at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from June 2011 to August 2013. Priya also worked as an Education Coordinator at Mount Sinai Medical Center from April 2010 to June 2011. Additionally, Sikka has international work experience, including roles as a Student Abroad Advisor at Wilfrid Laurier University from September 2007 to August 2009, as an International Project Consultant at Georgian College from April 2005 to September 2007, and as a Consultant for International Programs at War Child Canada from June 2004 to March 2005.

Priya Sikka has a diverse educational background spanning over several years. Priya obtained a BA (Honors) in Human Rights & Law from Carleton University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Professional Certificate in International Mediation and Conflict Resolution from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2003. In the same year, they also earned a Graduate certificate in International Project Management from Humber College.

In 2017, Priya Sikka furthered their education by completing a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Northampton Community College. This particular program lasted until 2018.

Apart from their formal education, Priya Sikka has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2012, they received a Medical Education Research Certificate from the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). In 2022, they obtained a Team Performance Certificate and a Talent Optimization Consultant Certificate from The Predictive Index. Recently, in 2023, they acquired two certifications titled "Disney's Approach to Employee Engagement" and "Employee Engagement Essentials: Intentional Listening" from the Disney Institute.
