Thilina Jayasinghe

Thilina Jayasinghe's work experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at RS Metrics since April 2022. In this position, Thilina is responsible for utilizing satellite imagery and geospatial ESG analytics to provide valuable insights and actionable signals for businesses and investors. Prior to this, Thilina worked as a Data Analyst at VizuaMatix from September 2021 to March 2022. Thilina's earlier experience includes a trainee role at People's Bank Sri Lanka from December 2016 to November 2017.

Thilina Jayasinghe holds a master's degree in Big Data Analytics from Robert Gordon University, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they completed a degree in Industrial Statistics and Mathematical Finance at the University of Colombo from 2017 to 2022. Thilina also attended Maliyadeva College from 2013 to 2016, where they pursued an Advanced Level degree in Physical Science. Thilina'searliest education was at Wayamba Royal College from 2003 to 2013. Thilina has obtained several certifications, including a certification from the International Conference on Applied Sciences Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in May 2023, a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Developer certification from Google in March 2023, and certifications in Python Data Structures from Coursera, What is Data Science? from IBM, and Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from the University of Michigan, all obtained in June 2020. Thilina also has an incomplete certification in Google Cloud Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals.
