Udari Jayasooriya

Udari Jayasooriya began their work experience in 2021 as an Intern-Data Analyst at Dialog Axiata PLC and later transitioned into a role as a Junior Data Scientist. In 2022, they joined RS Metrics as a Data Scientist, where they utilize satellite imagery and geospatial ESG analytics to drive better business decisions.

Udari Jayasooriya completed their education at the University of Colombo from 2018 to 2022, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Statistics and Mathematical Finance with a field of study in Applied Statistics. Prior to that, they attended Rathnavali Balika Vidyalaya in Gampaha from 2007 to 2016, focusing on Mathematics without earning a degree. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including "AI For Everyone," "The Data Scientist's Toolbox," "Linear Regression for Business Statistics," and "Introduction to Data Analysis Using Excel," from Coursera in 2020.
