P.eng Shawn van Hoek-Patterson

Shawn van Hoek-Patterson, P.Eng, possesses extensive experience in engineering and project management, particularly in the fields of composites, product development, and technical research. Currently serving as the Manager of Technical Development and Research, as well as Manager of Product Engineering at RS Technologies Inc. since 2005, Shawn is responsible for implementing production processes and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Previous roles include Design Engineer for Electro-Explosive Devices at LifeSparc Inc., Product Development Engineer at Western Star Trucks, Project Engineer at Transfield RPC, and Project Co-ordinator at Chemposite Inc. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria and a degree in Plastics Engineering Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
