Tammy Shields

Tammy Shields has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry. Tammy started at Student Resources in 1989, where they worked their way up to Lead Supervisor of Policy Services before leaving in 2004. In 2006, they joined Academic HealthPlans as the Director of Marketing and Communications, specializing in student health insurance administration and plan marketing.

Tammy Shields pursued a degree in Paralegal/Legal Assistant with a focus on Legal Research at Delta Career College. In 2017, they obtained certifications in Executive Leadership for Management from ADP and Social Media and Digital Marketing.
