Ryan Magennis

Ryan Magennis is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering and management, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Heather's Heroes since January 2025. With a robust career at RSE since January 2016, Ryan has held various titles including Technical Manager (Design), Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, and Production Manager. Prior experience includes a role as Strategic Sourcing Specialist / Supplier Relationship Manager at LifeScan Scotland Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed the management of multi-million dollar packaging accounts and Supply Chain strategies. Ryan also contributed to LifeScan Scotland as a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer and Operations Engineer, as well as holding a role in operations during initial career stages as a Graduate Engineer. Involvement with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) as Inverness Panel Chairman from 2008 to 2013 demonstrated leadership in promoting engineering within the community. Ryan's educational background includes a BEng Hons in Mechanical Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University and various professional qualifications in management and engineering.
