Carolynn Beaty is an experienced education and leadership professional currently serving as the Executive Director at Sitka Foundation since January 2010 and as an Integrated Capital Institute Fellow at RSF Social Finance since September 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Teacher Librarian and Science Teacher at Crofton House School from September 2010 to October 2020, and as a Fellow in the Team Leadership Development Program with the Independent Schools Association of British Columbia from September 2017 to June 2018. Previously, Carolynn taught Upper School Humanities at the International School of Amsterdam from July 2007 to June 2009. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Master of Science in History and Philosophy of Science, Medicine and Technology, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology, and a Bachelor of Education, all from Queen's University.
