Jasper J. van Brakel

Jasper van Brakel is a seasoned leader in the field of finance and management, currently engaged with The Aspen Institute as part of the Finance Leaders Fellowship since September 2024. As President & CEO of RSF Social Finance since March 2018, Jasper focuses on regenerative finance, supporting small- to mid-sized change makers. Previous roles include Chair of the Board of Directors at Gaia Herbs and member of the Board of Directors at TETON WATERS RANCH, where Jasper contributed to significant mergers and organizational growth. Additional experience spans advisory and operational roles at Armonia, partnership at NewparkCapital, and leadership positions at Weleda, where responsibilities included P&L management and executive roles in North America and Europe. Jasper's educational background includes an MSc in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a graduate degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Erasmus School of Economics, and further studies in General Management at Harvard Business School.
