Ashley Asmus has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Ashley began their career as a Ph.D. candidate, graduate research assistant, and graduate teaching assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington from 2012 to 2020. Ashley then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities from 2017 to 2020. Following that, they joined the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities as a data scientist from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they work as a consultant at RSG - Resource Systems Group, Inc. from 2023.
Ashley Asmus completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, specializing in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior from The University of Texas at Austin between 2009 and 2011. Ashley later pursued a higher level of education, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Quantitative Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Ashley also attended Middlebury College from 2005 to 2006, with a focus on Geography.
