Brieanna-Lyn McCormick

Brieanna-Lyn McCormick has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Brieanna-Lyn began their career in 2015 as an Aviation Ordnancemen in the United States Marine Corps, where they maintained safety standards and prepared daily expenditure reports for unit aviation ammunitions. From 2017 to 2018, Brieanna-Lyn served as a Uniformed Readiness Coordinator, providing training to new Marine check-ins and briefing employees on standard operating procedures and resources.

In 2018, they transitioned to the role of a Uniformed Readiness Coordinator at the Lieutenant Colonel command level, implementing the Commanders' vision for the Unit, Personal, and Family Readiness Program (UPFRP). Brieanna-Lyn effectively communicated with over 1000 service members and approximately 700 family members, providing on-base and community resources and organizing family day events. Brieanna-Lyn also redesigned the program's newsletter and provided welcome aboard briefs to highlight available resources for junior Marines.

In 2019, Brieanna-Lyn joined the Marine Corps Community Services as a Readiness and Deployment Support Trainer. Brieanna-Lyn developed innovative and engaging workshops and curriculum for various programs, training audiences ranging from 3 to 350 Marines, Sailors, and their families. Brieanna-Lyn also collaborated with subject matter experts to develop new training programs and increase workshop attendance by approximately 75%. Additionally, they served as a Deployment Readiness Coordinator, providing support to Marine Aircraft Group 16 by coordinating pre-deployment activities for a unit of over 450 personnel.

Most recently, Brieanna-Lyn joined RSG - Resource Systems Group, Inc. in 2022 as a Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator, where they are responsible for managing recruitment processes.

Brieanna-Lyn McCormick is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication in Human Relations from the University of New Hampshire, with an expected graduation year of 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Palomar College between 2019 and 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Brieanna-Lyn has acquired several certifications. In January 2022, they obtained the Certified Personal Fitness Trainer - Health Fitness Instructor (CPFT-) certification from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). In September 2021, they received the ATD Master Trainer certification from the Association for Talent Development (ATD). Brieanna-Lyn also obtained the First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification from the American Heart Saver in April 2021 and from the American Red Cross in September 2017.
