John Vandergriff has over 25 years of work experience in the transportation and infrastructure industry. John is currently the Vice President of Virginia Infrastructure & Construction Management at RS&H, a position they have held since June 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Transportation / Infrastructure Leader at RS&H from February 2013 to June 2019. Before joining RS&H, John worked as an Engineering Manager at The Louis Berger Group, Inc. from February 2006 to February 2013. John also gained experience as a Senior Transportation Engineer at the Virginia Department of Transportation from August 2004 to February 2006, and as a Senior Transportation Engineer at Michael Baker Corporation from January 1998 to August 2004. Earlier in their career, John worked as an Engineer at Wilbur Smith Associates from August 1995 to January 1998, and as an Engineer in Training II at West Virginia DOT from January 1992 to August 1995.

John Vandergriff attended Virginia Tech from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. John later pursued further education in the same field at Virginia Tech, earning another B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
