Kirk Roworth

Kirk Roworth is an audit partner and national energy leader for RSM Canada LLP. With 30 years of experience, Kirk focuses on growth-oriented private and public entities in the energy sector.

Kirk leads RSM Canada’s energy team, assisting clients with accounting issues, industry trends and technical standards affecting the upstream and midstream oil and gas, oil and gas service, mining and alternative energy sectors for both private and public entities. His deep knowledge includes assurance and both the international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and Canada’s accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE). He has led many clients through significant transactions, including debt and equity financings, takeovers, private placements and initial public offerings, advising on securities regulatory matters and filings. A frequent lecturer, Kirk presents at many seminars, on topics related to emerging and complex accounting standards.
