Austin Rutten has a diverse range of work experience. Austin began their career in 2014 as a Sales Associate at Old Navy, where they replenished inventory, assisted customers, and supported store management. In 2015, they worked as a Mathematics Tutor at the University of Minnesota Duluth, providing assistance to fellow students in computer science, mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The following year, they served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, helping students in a General Physics 1 class with assignments and clarifying complex concepts.

In 2017, Austin joined Best Buy as a Sales Associate, acquiring extensive knowledge about electronics and utilizing sales techniques to ensure customer satisfaction.
