Mohamed Shedeed

Mohamed Shedeed's work experience begins with their current position as a Mobile Engineer at Waveform.com/RSRF, which they started in December 2022. Mohamed also held a previous Mobile Engineer role at the same company from July 2022 to November 2022.

Before that, Mohamed worked as a Mobile Engineer at Zyda from April 2022 to February 2023.

From May 2022 to July 2022, Mohamed worked as a Mobile Engineer at Octo, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining a React Native mobile application. Mohamed utilized Redux and its middleware for state management and used Detox for writing automation tests.

Prior to their professional work, Mohamed completed mandatory military service with the Egyptian Armed Forces from March 2020 to June 2021.

During their time as a Software Developer from September 2018 to April 2020, Mohamed created the official AUC Student Union Android Application and developed the official First-Year Experience application. Mohamed migrated the AUC Student Union app from Java to Kotlin and rearchitected it to MVVM.

In their role as a Mobile Engineer at Valify Solutions from February 2019 to January 2020, Mohamed developed and maintained an Android SDK that utilized Tensorflow Lite and real-time frame processing for digital identity verification. Mohamed also implemented design patterns and enhanced security protocols for SDK communication with the back-end.

Lastly, as an Intern at Abou Ghaly Motors in June 2018 to August 2018, Mohamed extended the functionality of the company's official HR Application for both Android and iOS. Mohamed gained experience with CRM tools like Zoho and SAP and learned how to work effectively within a team.

From 2014 to 2019, Mohamed Shedeed pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at The American University in Cairo.
