Carlos Escura

Carlos Escura has worked in a variety of IT and devops roles since 2014. In that year, they worked as an IT Manager at the Centre for the Innovation and Development of Education and Technology. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Social Point as a Full Stack Developer and IT Technician. During this time, they were responsible for authentication services and security, as well as developing web applications in Angular, NodeJS, AngularJS, and Python Flask. In 2018, they moved to Telefonica Alpha, where they served as an AWS Solutions Architect & DataOps. Theirmain responsibilities included designing and executing on-premises migration to AWS, designing and deploying VPC, networking and VPC peering structure. Most recently, in 2021, Carlos began working at RSS.com as Head of Devops Engineering.

Carlos Escura completed a Telecomunications degree in Information Technology at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2013 to 2014. Carlos then pursued a Multimedia degree in Information Technology at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, Carlos obtained a Técnico Superior en Sistemas de Telecomunicación e Informáticos degree in Ingeniería eléctrica, electrónica y de comunicaciones from IES Politécnico Castellón from 2011 to 2013. Carlos also holds certifications from Amazon Web Services and edX, including an AWS Solutions Architect and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate 2016.
