Claire Shooter

Claire Shooter is an experienced professional specializing in public health and research, currently serving as the Public Health Manager at RSSB since June 2016. Claire is focused on establishing RSSB as an authority on managing public health within the GB rail sector, particularly in response to challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, as a Senior Horizon Scanning Specialist, Claire facilitated foresight activities to prepare the rail industry for future changes and technological disruptions. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Associate at Breast Cancer Now, investigating clinical potentials linked to triple negative breast cancer, and a PhD candidate at King's College London, where Claire evaluated next-generation sequencing technologies. Claire's academic background includes advanced degrees from King's College London and Imperial College London, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Sussex.
