Dougie Hill

Dougie Hill has a diverse work experience in various roles related to freight and operations management. Dougie started their career at Direct Rail Services in 2001 and held multiple positions including Regional Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Head of Operations Delivery, and Head of National Freight Strategy & Policy. In 2018, they joined Independent as the Chair of the National Freight Safety Group. In 2021, they joined Nuclear Transport Solutions as the Head of National Freight Strategy & Policy. Currently, Dougie holds the position of Principal Strategy Implementation Manager - Freight at RSSB, starting in 2022.
