Liz Davies

Liz Davies has a strong background in data and modeling research and development as well as safety performance. Liz worked as a Professional Lead for Data & Modeling R&D at RSSB from April 2017. Prior to that, they were the Head of Safety Performance at RSSB for 15 years from April 2002 to March 2017. Liz also has experience as a Navigation Safety Specialist at Eurocontrol from April 1995 to March 2002. Before that, they worked as a Statistical Analyst at NATS from April 1989 to March 1995. Liz began their career as a Mathematician at IHS ESDU from December 1986 to March 1989.

Liz Davies attended Durham University from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained a BSc degree in Mathematics. Liz then pursued their education at Birkbeck, University of London from 1988 to 1992, earning a BSc degree in Psychology. In 1998, Liz enrolled at The University of Sheffield, completing their studies in 2000 with a MA degree in Philosophy, Psychology & Society. Prior to their university education, they attended Litherland High School from 1976 to 1983.
