Cheryl McLeod

Cheryl McLeod is an experienced underwriter with a career spanning several decades in the insurance industry. Currently serving as a Senior Underwriter at RT Specialty since August 2016, Cheryl has a strong background in underwriting and placing Casualty business across multiple states, including Alabama, Florida, and North Carolina, gained from previous roles at Leo Risk Services, Inc. and N-Surance Outlets. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Account Manager at Ramsgate Insurance and Underwriting Manager at Burns & Wilcox, where management of the Tampa Branch Office was a key responsibility. Cheryl's foundational experience in underwriting began at Great Republic Insurance Company and Standard Underwriters. Cheryl holds an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Broward College, earned between 1977 and 1979.
