Matt Blessing

Matt Blessing, CIC, is an accomplished underwriting manager with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Currently at RT Specialty since May 2017, Matt oversees underwriting operations and strategic initiatives. Previously, Matt served as an underwriter at Med James, Inc. from May 2012 to April 2017, where notable achievements included building a successful book of business generating over $2,000,000 in premium revenues, and developing marketing strategies to enhance customer relations. Earlier experience includes a role as an underwriter at S. A. Freerks & Assoc. from January 2006 to May 2012. Matt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Insurance from Missouri State University, completed in 2005.
