Steve Mitchell

Steve Mitchell is the Office President and COO of the Griffin Division at RT Specialty, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Steve served as Executive Vice President and COO at Griffin Underwriting Services from July 2018 to December 2022, where significant growth was achieved under a culture focused on employee engagement. Previous experience includes positions at USI Insurance Services as Assistant Vice President, Travelers in various roles including Managing Account Executive, and QBE North America as Senior Underwriter. With over 20 years in the insurance industry, Steve brings extensive expertise in underwriting, leadership, and management. Steve holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Washington.
