Tyler Stoddard

Tyler Stoddard is currently serving as Vice President - Broker at RT Specialty since January 2023, specializing in wholesale insurance for construction and habitation, with a focus on property, casualty, and professional lines placement. Prior to this role, Tyler spent over 16 years at Griffin Underwriting Services, initially as a Commercial Insurance Broker specializing in construction, general casualty, and professional liability, and later as a Sr. Marketing Representative, where responsibilities included managing a marketing plan and client development strategy for 1,500 agents across four states. Tyler began the career at State Farm Insurance as a Licensed Staff member, producing insurance for new and existing clients while gaining foundational knowledge in property and casualty. Academic qualifications include a BA in Business with a focus on Finance from the UW Foster School of Business, along with certifications as a Certified Insurance Counselor and a state insurance license.
