Nora Taksas Bhuiya

Nora Taksas Bhuiya has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Nora is currently working as a Principal Analyst at the Regional Transportation Authority, where they are responsible for developing and monitoring the agency's operating budget. Nora regularly briefs the Executive Director and CFO on the proposed budget and troubleshoots the current ERP system. Prior to this, they were a Senior Analyst at the same company.

Before joining the Regional Transportation Authority, Nora worked as a Statistical Research Analyst at the Illinois Department of Employment Security. During their time there, they assisted in designing and developing a new coding program for the Occupational Employment Statistics Survey, which significantly increased the response rate in employment and reduced processing time.

Nora also has experience as a Financial Analyst at Philips Assembly Center Hungary, where they implemented a new method for monthly variance analysis and prepared budget and forecast reports for revenue and manufacturing costs. Additionally, they worked as an Internal Auditor and Controlling Assistant at Hungrana Starch and Isosugar Manufacturing and Trading Ltd., where they conducted major operations audits and participated in the implementation of the SAP Financial/Controlling module.

Nora Taksas Bhuiya completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Miskolc between 1992 and 1995. Nora then pursued their Master of Science degree in Finance & Accounting at the same university from 1995 to 1997.
