Sébastien Barbieri has a diverse work experience in various positions within the technology and media industry. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a Developer at Infonie. Sébastien then joined Belgacom Skynet in 2000 and held different roles such as Developer, Architect & Content Developer, and Expert Content Developer & Team Leader until 2008. In 2007, they worked as a Freelancer at SBW for seven years. Since 2008, Sébastien has been working at RTBF, where they started as a Cross-media Solution Engineer and currently holds the position of Head of Research and Development.

Sébastien Barbieri has a diverse education history. Sébastien obtained a Graduate degree in Computer Science from an unspecified institution between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Computer Science Industrial Field at Haute Ecole de Bruxelles from 1998 to 2001. Their educational journey began at Université libre de Bruxelles, where they pursued studies in Polytechnics from 1996 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Sébastien obtained several certifications throughout their career. In February 2021, they obtained the Certified User Experience Design (CUD) certification from ULB. In February 2019, they earned a Certificat Universitaire in Hands-on Artificial Intelligence from Faculté Polytechnique de Mons. In August 2018, they obtained the Prince2 Agile Practitioner certification from PeopleCert, and in June 2018, they acquired the Prince2 Foundation certification from the same institution.

Furthermore, Sébastien has pursued further knowledge in specific areas through online platforms. In August 2017, they completed a course in Machine Learning on Coursera, and in September 2014, they studied Cryptography I through the same platform. Lastly, in April 2009, they became a Certified Scrum Master through ScrumAlliance.
