Arunprasanth Sakthivel

Arunprasanth Sakthivel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Arunprasanth began their career as a Telecommunication Engineer at Bharti Airtel Lanka in 2009. After a short stint, they moved on to become an Instructor at the University of Peradeniya, Faculty of Engineering in 2010. Arunprasanth then progressed to the role of Lecturer in 2011, where they taught until 2012. Arunprasanth then joined the University of Manitoba as a Research Assistant and Ph.D. Candidate in 2012, working there until 2016. Starting in 2016, they joined RTDS Technologies Inc., initially as a Simulation Specialist and later as a Simulation Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Simulation Engineer at RTDS Technologies Inc.

Arunprasanth Sakthivel completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Peradeniya from 2006 to 2010. Arunprasanth then pursued their Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the same institution from 2011 to 2013. Following this, Arunprasanth attended the University of Manitoba from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical Engineering.
