Park InKwon

Senior Principal Simulation Engineer at RTDS Technologies Inc.

Park InKwon has a wide range of work experience in the field of simulation engineering and electrical system research and development. Park began their career in 1997 as a Deputy Manager at LS Industrial Systems, where they primarily worked in the R&D department on various projects involving protective relay, SCADA systems, power system visualization systems, and power system simulators. In 2002, they joined RTDS Technologies Inc. as a Simulation Engineer and later progressed to the roles of Principal Simulation Engineer and Senior Principal Simulation Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of Manitoba, starting in 2023.

Park InKwon's education history begins in 1991 when they enrolled at Yonsei University to pursue a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. Park completed their studies in 1996.

Afterward, they joined the University of Manitoba in 2003 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Power System. This program lasted for nine years until 2012 when they successfully earned their Ph.D.

Park InKwon continued their academic journey at the University of Manitoba by enrolling in a Master of Engineering program in Electrical Engineering. Park began this program in 2016 and is expected to complete it in 2022.
