Shaun Warkentin

Shaun Warkentin began their work experience in 1998 at Sobeys, where they held various roles as a Courtesy Clerk, Cashier, and File Maintenance staff until 2001. Afterward, they worked at Yonge Street Mission as an Assistant for a short period in 2001. In 2002, Shaun joined Viterra as a Software Developer for four months before transitioning to RTDS Technologies Inc. where they held a similar role for three months. In 2003, Shaun worked at Manitoba Hydro as a Software Developer for three months. Finally, they returned to RTDS Technologies Inc. in 2004, initially as a Software Developer and then transitioning to a Senior Software Developer role in September 2021.

Shaun Warkentin attended River East Collegiate from 1996 to 1999, where they completed their High School education and earned a Dual Diploma in Software Technology. Shaun then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Computer Science with Honors and Cooperative Education at the University of Manitoba from 1999 to 2003. During their time at the university, Shaun studied Computer Science and Psychology.
