Bénédicte Jourdier

Bénédicte Jourdier is an Engineer Researcher at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité since May 2020, with prior experience at EDF from October 2015 to April 2020, where focus was on developing forecasting tools for wind and solar power using weather forecasts and climate reanalyses. Bénédicte's earlier research at CNRS involved studying long-term wind variability in France, while a work placement at MAIA EOLIS included setting up operational wind forecasts using the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model. Academic achievements include a PhD from École Polytechnique, a Master of Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and an Engineer's degree from École Polytechnique, complemented by preparatory studies in Physics and Chemistry at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève.
