Christophe Bufflier

Christophe Bufflier is an accomplished professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Directeur de Centre Maintenance at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Électricité since August 2018, where responsibility includes overseeing 585 maintenance personnel for the electricity transmission network in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region. Previously, Christophe held various leadership roles at EDF between 1993 and 2018, including Chef de Département Technique Patrimoine and Chef de Division Systèmes Electriques, managing teams of engineers while focusing on high-voltage network engineering, safety in nuclear power distribution, and technical project management. Christophe began a career in energy with EDF and gradually progressed through technical and managerial positions, gaining extensive experience in maintenance, operations, and project management across different geographical locations. Christophe holds an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from INSA Lyon, obtained in 1991.
