Florent Xavier currently serves as the Director of the Partnership, Valorization, Transformation, and Transprogram Strategy Department in R&D at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Électricité, overseeing the PRISME program and managing strategic and budgetary aspects across various themes, including R&D partnerships and open-source transformation. Additional roles include directing the R&D program focused on climate and long-term network balance, managing a team of engineers, and coordinating national and European projects. Previous positions involve leading the R&D Pole for Integration of New Technologies and responsibility for studies on dynamic network functioning. Florent Xavier holds an engineering degree from CentraleSupélec, a master’s in electrical engineering from EPFL, and completed the Future Grid Managers Programme at Vlerick Business School.
