François Boulet has a comprehensive work experience in the energy industry. François started as a Dispatcher at EDF in 1994 before transitioning to Interconnection Access Manager at RTE-FRANCE in 1999. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as the Chef de Service Conduite at RTE-FRANCE. François then became the Chief Executive Officer at Coreso SA from 2009 to 2012. François later joined RTE Résau de Transport d'Electricité in 2013, where they held various leadership positions including Deputy Head of SENE, Head of Centre Exploitation Lille, and currently serves as the Head of Grid Development. In 2021, François Boulet also became an Associate at Time for the Planet, a mission-driven company focused on combating climate change through innovative solutions.
François Boulet attended Lycée Faidherbe from 1987 to 1990, where they did not enroll in any specific degree or field of study. Subsequently, from 1990 to 1993, they pursued their higher education at CentraleSupélec, earning a degree in Electrical Engineering (Génie Electrique).
