Lucas Lorenzo

Lucas Lorenzo is a Power System Engineer at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité since June 2022, specializing in the development of the French 400 kV power grid, with a focus on energy mix evolution and collaboration with other Transmission System Operators. Previously, Lucas contributed to grid operation forecasting for the Paris and Normandy regions, leading various electrical studies, including renewable energy penetration evaluations and studies related to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Prior experience includes a role as a Junior Consultant at PSR - Energy Consulting and Analytics, where Lucas evaluated the impact of distributed energy resources on distribution networks. Lucas began a career at RTE as an Electrical Studies Intern, responsible for reducing the European network for multi-situation studies. Academic qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and a degree in Multidisciplinary Engineering from Centrale Lille.
