Philippe Michal

Philippe Michal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the power system sector, currently serving as Deputy General Manager at RTE International since July 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing management and international projects related to power systems. Prior to this role, Philippe worked as a Senior Technical Expert at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité, focusing on the process design for the control of generation unit technical capacity in France. Previous positions include Project Director at RTE International, Senior Expert at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité, and various roles at EDF, including Expert and Project Manager, where expertise was applied in load dispatch center engineering and software development for hydro power plant generation forecasts. Philippe holds a Master’s degree from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and an engineering degree from HEI - Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur.
