Angelito Perez Tan, Jr. has an extensive work experience in the luxury and premium brands industry in Asia. In 2001, they were the Owner and Managing Partner for Strategy at EAC marketing communications. From 2003 to 2005, they owned and directed APNC Integrated Marketing, specializing in event management and public relations for China's luxury market. In 2007, they became the Managing Partner at BBDO/Proximity Live, a strategic communications agency focusing on luxury brands targeting China's high net worth individuals. In 2012, Angelito co-founded RTG Group Asia and served as the CEO. In the same year, they also co-founded RTG Consulting Group, offering end-to-end business strategy solutions for luxury and premium brands with a focus on the global luxury Chinese consumer. In 2021, they co-founded RTG Capital Pte. Ltd., an investment firm specializing in helping companies grow in Asia, particularly in the luxury/premium consumer growth brands in the Food & Beverage, Technology, and Health & Wellness sectors.

Angelito Perez Tan, Jr.'s education history begins in 1995 when they enrolled at the University of Rochester. From 1995 to 1999, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts, with a major in Media Communications and Film and a minor in Creative Writing. In 1998 and 1999, they also had a brief academic experience at Fudan University, although it is unclear what degree or field of study is associated with this period.
