Joana Vicente Leal

Joana Vicente Leal has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries and roles. Joana currently holds the position of Head of Programme Delivery at RTGS.global since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the Bank of England as a Portfolio Manager for Cyber Security & Central Services from November 2019 to October 2021, and as a Programme Manager for Cyber Security from April 2016 to March 2020.

Before joining the Bank of England, Joana worked at CLS Group as an Associate Director for Infrastructure & Information Security Portfolio Management from April 2012 to March 2016, and as a Project Manager from November 2006 to April 2012. Joana also gained experience as a Programme Analyst at the Healthcare Commission from January 2006 to November 2006.

Joana's earlier work experience includes a role as a Project Manager for Claims Management & Providers Network at AdvanceCare S.A. from November 2003 to December 2005. These various positions have provided their with a strong background in programme and project management, particularly in the fields of cyber security, infrastructure, and information security.

Joana Vicente Leal obtained their Hons degree in International Relations from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, attending from 1998 to 2003. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including MoP® Certifications from PeopleCert in February 2020, Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from The Knowledge Academy in November 2018, and MSP® Certifications from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2018.
