Amy Martin Ma, Els

Amy Martin, MA, ELS has a diverse work experience spanning several positions. Amy began their career in 1999 as an Editorial Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Amy later became the Director of Communications at the same university and held this position until 2003. In that year, they joined RTI Health Solutions as a Medical Editor and worked in this role until 2013 when they became the Editorial Director. Amy continued to progress in their career and became the Senior Director of Medical Writing, Medical Editing, and Graphic Design at RTI Health Solutions in 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Medical Writing, Editing, and Design at the company, starting in June 2022.

Amy Martin, MA, ELS has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Amy also holds a Master's Degree from Ohio University. In 2019, they obtained the certification of Editor in the Life Sciences from the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences. Amy also has an Essential Skills Certificate from the American Medical Writers Association, although the institution and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
