Joyce H.

Joyce H. has extensive experience in medical editing and inclusive language initiatives, currently serving as a Senior Medical Editor and Manager at RTI Health Solutions since September 2016. Joyce leads a team specializing in patient-centered outcomes research and is responsible for editing various medical documents. Additionally, Joyce co-leads inclusive language best practices for medical writing and was a presenter at the American Medical Writers Association conferences in 2022. With a strong background in editing across multiple platforms, including freelance work since 2009, Joyce has held key roles with RTI International and GSK, ensuring quality in promotional content and internal initiatives focused on racial justice and equity. Joyce's prior journalism experience includes writing and editing for The News & Observer, where notable contributions were made across various sections from health and fitness to television. Joyce holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
