Susana Perez-Gutthann has extensive work experience in the field of epidemiology. Susana has held various leadership positions in different companies, including Vice President, Global Head Epidemiology at RTI Health Solutions, Head of Epidemiology, Europe at RTI Health Solutions, Senior Director, Global Epidemiology at Pfizer, Senior Director, Global Head Epidemiology at Pharmacia, and Head Global Epidemiology at Novartis. Susana has also been actively involved in the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology, where they served as a past President and contributed to various committees and guidelines. Additionally, they currently hold the position of Board Chair and Executive Committee Member at The SIGMA Consortium. Susana's work experience spans over three decades, showing their expertise and dedication to the field of epidemiology.
Susana Perez-Gutthann has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Susana also holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from the Universitat de Barcelona. Furthermore, they have obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmacoepidemiology from the same institution. Additionally, in 1987, they obtained a certification named "Becarios Fundación "la Caixa" from the Fundación "la Caixa".
