Christian Weibezahn is a seasoned TV journalist and editor with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as a Redakteur/Autor at RTL Deutschland since October 2023, Christian has also worked independently as a TV journalist since 2014. Prior roles include a TV journalist at Deutsche Welle from August 2016 to December 2023, and head of content at GIGA Digital AG, where responsibilities included leading a team of 30 editors and enhancing content quality. Christian held editorial leadership at Saint Elmo's Entertainment GmbH & Co. KG, managing the BMW TV editorial team, and worked at AZ Media TV GmbH from 2003 to 2013, where duties involved video journalism, editorial leadership, and format development. Early career experience includes working at RTL Television from 1999 to 2004, focusing on research and production support for notable programs. Christian holds a Magister Artium degree in Anglistik and Medienwissenschaften from the University of Düsseldorf, completed in 2004.
