Tyler Diaz, PE, is an experienced Project Engineer at RTM Engineering Consultants since March 2018, specializing in the calculation and design of code-compliant HVAC and plumbing permit drawings for a variety of structures including multi-family buildings, retail spaces, warehouses, offices, medical offices, and dealerships across multiple states and cities. Prior to this role, Tyler served as an Associate Project Manager at Ameresco from April 2015 to March 2018, where assistance was provided on a multimillion-dollar project at the University of Illinois at Chicago, involving project timeline updates and collaborative problem-solving with subcontractors and clients. Earlier experience includes a position as Engineering Assistant at McDonald's Corporation from October 2011 to June 2015, where leadership and operational support were provided under the store manager. Tyler holds an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Moraine Valley Community College, completed in 2014, and further studies at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2014 to 2016.
