Olaf Karlsen

Olaf Karlsen is a seasoned RF Engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, spanning multiple roles from 1993 to the present. Currently employed at RTX A/S since July 2016, Olaf focuses on end-to-end RF design, including specification development, embedded hardware design, and creation of evaluation kit boards to expedite customer market entry. Previous positions include RF Engineer at Intel Corporation, where expertise in LTE transmitter optimization was developed, and Project Lead at Infineon Technologies, overseeing RF TX system design for mobile platforms. Olaf's career began at Bosch Telecom, contributing to the design of the world's first three-band mobile phone, followed by roles in various companies, enhancing proficiency in RF system validation and debugging. Olaf holds two master's degrees from Aalborg University in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering.
