Barbara Mueller

Barbara Mueller is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and systems security engineering. Currently serving as a Lecturer at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering since January 2024, Barbara has also held the position of Engineering Fellow at Raytheon Technologies since July 2021. At Raytheon, Barbara progressed through various roles from Sr. Manager Systems Engineering to Sr. Principal Engineer, leading recruitment, management, and strategic development for large teams of engineers while shaping systems security strategies and best practices across multiple programs. Notable contributions include serving as the RMS SSE Lead Technologist and involvement in critical program analyses and vulnerability assessments. Barbara holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Arizona.
