Matthew Lynch

Matthew Lynch is a Senior Manager in Research Engineering at RTX, with experience in manufacturing modeling since April 2020. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Senior Principal Research Engineer at United Technologies Research Center, where responsibilities included multiple engineering roles from January 2012 to April 2020. Academic background includes a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, where research focused on numerical and analytical modeling of electrochemical processes, complemented by experience as a Master's student at Virginia Tech investigating microwave radiation effects on glass corrosion. Matthew also holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Materials Science and Engineering and Mathematics from Virginia Tech. Early experience includes a research internship at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division.
